Content Creation Fellow, Digital Communications

Assemble is a marketing and communications agency for politics, issues, and public policy campaigns. We are seeking a Content Creation Fellow to join our Digital Communications team. This position may be full- or part-time, from 16 to 30 hours per week, and is paid at $20 per hour.

Our Summer 2025 Fellowships will run from approximately mid-May through mid-August, with some flexibility around those dates.

As a Fellow on the digital communications team, you’ll play an important role in creating visual content for campaigns seen by millions of people nationwide. You’ll utilize design and content best practices to create graphics, videos, and copy for social media and digital campaigns. 

This role is ideal for someone with a design or creative background looking to learn more about social media, copywriting, or digital strategy.

• Work with digital strategists to develop and execute creative ideas
• Create graphics and/or videos for social media, digital advertising, and emails 
• Adhere to brand guidelines
• Complete projects according to deadlines
• Help draft and schedule social media content as needed
• Support and collaborate with the creative team, media planners, and client leads in addition to the digital communications team

• Working knowledge of layouts, typography, composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals
• Familiarity with social media best practices across platforms
• Strong skills within Canva and the Adobe Creative Suite
• Organization and attention to detail

• Video editing experience (even CapCut!)
• Web design skills 
• Knowledge of Figma
• Copywriting experience
